Lesson: SCOOTER KICKBALL
Establish two equal teams, one team will field, the other will kick.  The kicking team will be divided into 6 groups and will line up behind a cone.  Next to each cone will be a scooter and a playground ball.  A matching cone will be placed in front of each group about 30 yards away.  The first player in line will kick the ball when instructed then get on the scooter board and go up and around the opposing cone one time in attempt to score a point.  The fielding team will be located just beyond the scooter area waiting to retrieve the balls that are kicked.  After the balls are kicked, the fielders will collect all 6 balls and will quickly bring them to the box (next to the starting line of cones) and form a long straight line.  When all the balls are in the box, the first person in line will begin handing one ball back over their heads to the next person in line.  This will continue until the last person receives the ball and the fielding team will yell "STOP!".  The kicking team will receive one point for every player to get up and back on their scooter before "STOP!" is called.  Play will continue until all players have had a turn to kick then the fielding team will take over.
