LessonFlag Tag

The object of the game is to freeze the opposing team by taking all their flags.  If a students flag is taken the must stop and wait until the game is over.

Students will be broken up into two equal teams.  One team will wear the red flags the other will wear the green.  When wearing a flag, it must be visible and should be in a pocket or tucked into the pants (one flag per student).  The flag must also be located on the students' side (not the front or back).  Each team starts on the opposite sides of a square and will start on the >Go!= command.    If a flag is taken by the member of the opposite team or the flag falls out, that player must freeze until the round is over.  The game should continue for a few minutes and then the teacher should stop the game and count the number of flags taken by each team.  The team who took the most flags wins the round.

Safety Concerns:  No player may hold to take a flag and no one may cover their own flag to protect it.  No diving or tripping is allowed.  Students may not grab onto others' clothing during the game.
